On the way to Spido

Spido is easily accessible by car and public transportation, including the water bus. On this page you will find all route and parking information.

 

Saturday April 12th and Sunday April 13th there will be a Marathon taking place in Rotterdam. Several roads will not be accessible.

You can park (paid) in the Erasmus parking garage or APCOA Scheepvaartkwartier parking garage.

How to get to Spido?

Royal Spido is located at Willemsplein 85, 3016 DR ROTTERDAM

Parking
There is ample paid car parking in the adjoining Erasmus Multi-storey car park.
Please be aware: payment for parking elsewhere can only occur via vehicle registration parking!
There is free parking for buses close to the departure points.

From Central Station:

– Tram 3, direction: Beverwaard, stop: Leuvehaven.
– Tram 5, direction: Carnisselande, stop: Leuvehaven.

Or take the Underground subway:
– Underground subway, route D, direction: de Akkers, stop: Leuvehaven.
– Underground subway, route E, direction: Slinge, stop: Leuvehaven.

From Leuvehaven it is a 5 minute walk to the Spido.

Spido is also easily accessible by Waterbus. The stop is right next to the Spido jetty. There are also a number of locations where you can park for free and continue your journey by Waterbus. For more information about the locations, visit http://www.waterbus.nl/haltes/

Coming from the direction Utrecht/ Gouda (A12)

A16 Ring Rotterdam East
Exit 25
S107 direction Centrum

Route Parking Erasmus bridge

Coming from direction Dordrecht (A16)

Follow the A16 in the direction of Rotterdam.
Even before the Van Brienenoordbrug bridge, follow the signs ‘Centrum / Capelle a/d IJssel’ (exit 24 to 26).
Keep to the right and take the first exit after the bridge (exit 25), direction ‘Centrum’.
Turn left at the traffic lights (traffic circle 3/4).
Continue straight ahead along the Maasboulevard and Boompjes.

Coming from the direction of The Hague / Hoek van Holland (A13)

Follow the A20 in the direction of Utrecht. Then take the A16 in the direction of Dordrecht.
Before the Van Brienenoord Bridge, take exit 25, direction ‘Centrum / Capelle a/d IJssel’.
At the traffic lights turn right, direction ‘Centrum’.
Continue straight ahead along the Maasboulevard and Boompjes.
